Coca-Cola
is so popular in my home town that most of us Hongkongers consider that a local
soft drink. As part of my family tradition to have it during dinner, I certainly
had drank quite a lot since my childhood until high school era because at some point
I got more health-conscious (oh well, more like I wanted to have room to devour
all those amazing desserts out there).
Having
quitted for 5+ years and being a coffee lover, the idea of their new coca-cola
with these magical beans fascinated me and I just had to try it out so I bought
the most classic ones (those in glass bottles) for this short review.
Packaging:
looks more or less the same as the original flavour, except with brown lids and
coffee beans artwork below their signature logo
Nutritional value: 7.3 kJ per 330 mL with no fat nor sugar, and a higher caffeine content (a great reason for caffeine addicts to taste this!)
Appearance: same as the original Coke (even though only coffee Cola is pictured here), at least to me :p
Taste: exactly like the usual Coke when first tasted, with a caramelly sweetness and coffee aftertaste while not bitter at all; my friends and I were surprised that the flavours go quite well together and actually wanted more but I’ve heard some negative comments too…so coffee lovers should definitely give it a try as it might be a healthier and more refreshing substitute for your favourite morning drink =)
Available at Coles in Australia
