The spacious and comfy Natural Mix Market consists of an open kitchen in the front for workshops and an exhibition area stocked with vegetables, fruits and herbs from local farms.
Besides, there is an exhibition board showcasing the
natural ingredients used in the brand’s different skincare products so the
public will better understand their belief in skincare.
Our mix of the day was 165 Quinoa Mix and ingredients
include quinoa, kale, cherry tomatoes, radish, granny smith apple, avocado and
kimchi. The dressing contains shallot, orange juice, orange zest, thyme,
agave, extra virgin olive oil, and sherry vinegar and sea salt.
Other featured healthy recipes include Rainbow
Smoothie, Bolognese Zoodie and Soy Cheese Caesar Salad, with samples in the
front.
It’s time for mixing! All ingredients were nicely arranged
on the kitchen table in advance. Love the cute glass jars that are tailor made
for this event!
The chef briefly introduced all the ingredients and
their nutritional values while demonstrating how to make the salad.
Sorry for not taking any ‘making of’ photos but
basically all we did is to put everything into the jar in order and arrange
them nicely so it looked good :p
And here’s my jlovesssfood quinoa mix! Really
enjoyed learning so much about Kiehl’s history, their natural concept and wholesome ingredients
used in the salad.
For every dish created, Kiehl’s will donate HKD20
to Green Power and the target is to raise a total fund of HKD500,000 in support
of their good cause.
